The concept that "harmonode" describes is not entirely new, but there was previously no word for it. Is this new word needed? Who will use it? Will it help us articulate and understand solutions for our human ecology?
Whereas conventional Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) model requires farmers to possess an array of business skills, in this cooperative startup CSA the farmer need not be an entrepreneur. This hybrid of CSA and consumer co-op model can speed up local food solutions.
Ecoharmony describes a harmonious human ecology, in which optimal human habitat and ecological economics give way to unprecedented human equality and wellbeing. To realize this potential, new innovations in community development are needed.
Many solutions suffer from lack of news coverage, while news media's problem-centrism cultivates hopelessness. We can significantly boost effectiveness of solutions by simply covering them in the news; this is a requisite for further movement building.
